Booking a Small Group

For your event, club, wedding, anniversary...divorce ...whatever you need!

Black Samba is made up of a collective of some of the area's best new jazz musicians. From the West Side Jazz Jams, a body of players exist who work together in a variety of settings. When a Black Samba small group is booked in a club or for an event, it's guaranteed to have a consistency of mood, swing, quality, tone and professionalism.

While the main core group of Black Samba consists of Darren Littlejohn on guitar with a fine selection of accompanists, we can also help you put together a variety of other groups for your occasion.

We offer any combination of instruments that you would like to hear. Examples would include Solo Guitar, Guitar\ Bass Duo, Trios consisting of Vocal\Bass\Piano, Guitar\ Bass Drums, Bass\ Drums\ Piano or Bass\ Drums\ Sax, etc. If you'd like a larger group, we can set up Quartets featuring Trumpet, Alto, Tenor, Keys - whatever you prefer.
